About us

The Biscuit and pastry-making tradition of Anna P. goes back a long way - in 1942 Anna Puligheddu, having learnt the art of making these biscuits from an old aunt, decided to open a small bakery at Oliena, and dedicated her time to he careful, time-consuming preparation of "Su Pistoccu in sa cappa" - a speciality from Oliena. An art whose roots go back centuries to past traditions and artisan research, carried forward by the skilled hands of the village women, handed on from mother to doughtier. A heritage which still today is expressed the painstaking choice of ingredients and the adherence to the ancients recipes. We look forward to welcoming you to Casa Piras - Corte 13, where you will attend at 11:30 am to "Sehàmmos e Incappammos", the preparation of "Su Pistoccu in sa cappa".
